2nd Post - Full Day in Kruger National Park and a Morning in Blyde River Canyon

Our day in Kruger National Park was amazing. Usually we manage to see a fair number of animals while driving around in the park for a day, but I've never seen the numbers and diversity we did this time. We even saw two leopards! We saw elephants in quite a few different places, lots of rhino, water buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and of course, all kinds of different antelope. Particularly on our drive back to the park gate in the evening, animals seemed to show up around just about every corner. The park gate closes at 6:00 p.m. and you must be there by then, so I had to really hustle to pull up at the gate at five minutes before six! Just in time!
On Saturday we drove north on the Panorama Route with stops at Lisbon Falls, Berlin Falls, Bourke's Luck Potholes, and the Three Rondavels. The Blyde River Canyon is an impressive 'green' canyon with great views from every angle.
