6th & Final Post - The Glorious Cape, Cape Town, and the Winelands

This is the last post for our Wonderful South Africa trip and there are quite a few pictures, but it encompasses the last four days.
From Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo Desert, we spent a day driving Route 62, the longest Wine Route in the world. There is great diversity of scenery and numerous mountain passes as we make our way east to the Cape Region.
From the top of du Toits Kloof Pass, the whole Cape Region spreads out in front of us like a panorama photo! From there we drive through immaculate vineyards and sprawling, upscale suburbs into Cape Town, our home for the last 3 nights.

Cape Town from the side of Table Mountain

The forecast for our days in Cape Town was for wind, so we took our first opportunity and took the cable car up Table Mountain right away that first evening.
